Begin lying on your back on the mat, arms by your side and legs extended at 45 degrees with your toes pointed out. Place your hands underneath your hips and extend your legs toward the ceiling so that you are balancing on your shoulder girdle. As you exhale, split your legs so that one is forward and the other is pointed back. Inhale as you switch and split the legs in the other direction. Repeat.
