I'm doing an hour on the treadmill doing a hill program
It changes the inclines for me and I change the level of the work out about every 3 days and I start at a speed of 3.5 and am usually to 3.8 by the time I'm done

I also am wearing a sweatshirt to sweat more....which is a lot

I've learned to not always take the scale number ,and I've clearly lost weight in my before and current pictures I took. People say I look like I lost 15 lbs ...why won't the scale number change???

Muscle weights more than fat remember.

You are still using muscles you wernt before and to run you are using a lot of different muscles.

Lol I don't run. But wouldn't it still lose some weight with maybe gaining leg muscles?

Climbing hills build muscle & the more muscle you have the more water you hold in the muscle & the more you will weigh on the scale. The scales does not break down body composition and tell you how much fat you lost to how much muscle and water you gained. It's not always a good thing to see the scale go down, because most times it's a loss in muscle & we don't want that. www.practical-nutrition.com
